Drake, Shibari Wrap Plus Size Instructional

CANOGA PARK, Calif.—Wicked Pictures contract director/performer Jessica Drake and award-winning BBW performer Kelly Shibari have completed principal photography for their new collaborative addition to Drake's multiple AVN Award-crowned instructional series, Jessica Drake's Guide to Wicked Sex: Plus Size. “From the inception of my series Guide to Wicked Sex, I've wanted it to be a unique educational hybrid, an all inclusive resource to everyone interested in realizing their sexual potential,” Drake said. “When I began doing seminars and workshops years ago, I quickly realized women and couples of size were lacking options, and it seemed many plus size movies were still upholding the clichéd stereotypes, often in a derogatory fashion.” She continued, “I have long admired Kelly for her sex positive attitude, her determination, and her desire to educate, and I knew she would be the perfect person to collaborate with for this project. Over the past year, we gradually built the rapport to embark on what I feel is one of the greatest volumes in the entire series. I am extremely happy with this film, and am looking forward to getting it to the public.” Photos from Jessica Drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex: Plus Size are available on the series’ official Facebook fan page. The cast of Jessica Drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex: Plus Size includes beautiful BBW performers Devlyn Red, Angel DeLuca and Scarlet LaVey, as well as non-performer couples Scarlette Cyn and JC Lewis, and AVN's own Sherri L. Shaulis and partner Michael Colbert. The movie showcases women of a diverse range of BBW sizes, ranging from size 14 to 24. Shibari hosts the narration for the bulk of the project, and is also featured in one of the full-length sex scenes that close the production. "I'm honored to participate in this project for so many reasons," said Shaulis, senior editor of pleasure products for AVN. "The idea that it will open a dialogue about sex and sexuality not only between plus-size people, but all types of couples and lovers, is really exciting." Commented Scarlette Cyn, “This film project provided my partner and me the ability to explore each other’s bodies through communication exercises and real life practical scenarios. I sincerely thank our professional performers, our real life couples, and Kelly, for being so wonderful, and as always, Wicked, for their continuing support.” Jessica Drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex: Plus Size, which will be available in spring/summer 2014, takes viewers through a variety of topics, from relationship communication, discussion of trigger words and acceptable terminology between partners, size-friendly sex positions, and body confidence exercises. The addition of three full-length sex scenes, available with or without commentary, is also offered at the end of the movie. Interviews with plus-size adult performers, as well as non-performers, are an integral part of the project. They provide a non-xxx look into the issues confronted by plus size women, men and couples, and offer solutions to increase confidence and combat negative stereotypes. Expounded Shibari, “There was so much to cover in this film; our aim was to create a product for couples who may not be in size-positive or size-supportive communities, and we feel we have succeeded.
