Adam & Eve Starts Production on '9 1/2 Weeks' Parody

LOS ANGELES—Adam & Eve Pictures goes into production today on 9 1/2 Weeks: An Erotic XXX Parody, a pornographic retread of the 1986 Kim Basinger/Mickey Rourke steamer to be directed by David Lord, with Summer Brielle and James Deen in the lead roles. The movie also features Capri Cavanni, Seth Gamble, Courtney Taylor and Tommy Gunn.“I’m so happy to bring this project to life,” Lord said. “The original film has captivated audiences for nearly 30 years ... and it is my hope to recreate the heat and the playfulness of the classic while going a step further.”Added Rachel Vigneaux, head of Adam & Eve Pictures, “We are very excited about this project and the vision that David Lord has for it.”“I’m honored and excited to be a part of this production,” Brielle commented. “Working with James is a perfect fit for the emotional and sexual journey of this film.”For Deen's part, he confessed, “I had never seen the original 9 1/2 Weeks, and accepted the role just because I like working with David Lord.
