Breaking Glass Sizes Up Nov. 26 Street Date For âUnhung Heroâ |
PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—Breaking Glass Pictures has announced a November 26 street date for the DVD release of Unhung Hero, the world's first cockumentary in which director Brian Spitz follows the story of Patrick Moote from the beginning of his infamy as he travels the globe seeking answers about what lies between every man's legs. When his girlfriend rejects his marriage proposal at a UCLA basketball game on the jumbotron, it unfortunately goes viral and hits TV networks worldwide. Days after the heartbreaking debacle, she privately reveals why she can't be with him forever: Patrick's small penis. Unhung Hero is the real life journey of Patrick as he boldly sets out to expose this extremely personal chapter of his life by confronting ex-girlfriends, doctors, anthropologists and even adult film stars. Patrick has a lot of turf to cover on his globetrotting adventure to finally answer the age old question: Does size matter? Along the way, Patrick meets and gets advice from adult industry icon Annie Sprinkle, and receives comments from top performer Dale DaBone, and perhaps others, as shown in this trailer for the movie. The premiere of Unhung Hero drew unprecedented crowds at the 2013 South By Southwest Film Festival and has gone on to receive audience acclaim at the Traverse City Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival and Sydney's Underground Film Festival. The DVD release of Unhung Hero (SRP $19.99) will include over 60 minutes of bonus features: a feature length commentary with Patrick Moote and Brian Spitz, deleted and extended scenes with Dan Savage and Jonah Falcon, and an hour of interview footage.
