Fresh Face: Interview With Dillion Harper

I shot my first porn before I watched any porn,” she told AVN. “I know it’s pretty crazy. One of the first things that shocked me was that I was going to have sex with this random stranger.” Although she hadn’t seen a video before, she caught up quickly. (“I used to be horrible at giving BJ’s and now I’m amazing. I’ve learned.”) Now, she has a substantial body of work behind her. “I just fell in love with it. I was living in an apartment and trying to make the rent and the car payment, on top of going to school, and I needed to find a job. I sent my pictures to Bang Bros, Score magazine, and Brazzers and stuff, and I actually got a call back from an agency in Fort Lauderdale. We talked for a few hours and a few hours after that I was on a bus going to Fort Lauderdale. I made the decision within 24 hours. What did you do before this? I was a part-time student, and the hostessing. I was also a server at the country club and a sports bar in Naples. How many scenes have you done now? I’m shooting every day and I’ve been in for 11 months. I’m not good at math, but I’d say that’s a lot. I know I have 11 or 12 DVDs actually out. What's the best scene you've done so far? I did a scene for Porn Pros on a tennis court where we played tennis. One of the funnest positions was where I was on the fence, holding on with my arms with my back to the fence, while he was fucking me. It was pretty intense, like the position itself, trying to make it look as hot as possible and as natural as possible. I really enjoyed doing that.Who do you want to work with that you haven't worked with yet? I have not worked with Vivid. I would like to work with them. I’ve worked with Wicked, I’ve worked with Brazzers, I’ve worked with Kink—I’ve worked with multiple companies already. I’d like to work with Playboy and Vivid. How is making videos different from what you thought? I was shy coming into this. I think everyone is, getting naked in front of the camera. At first I didn’t realize how close they got to get the shot, like up into your vagina and personal parts. Do you like working in the adult industry? I like it a lot. I feel that everyone I’ve met in the adult industry, they don’t judge you. I feel people are friendlier in the industry than they were when I was not working in the industry. When I was serving I had to deal with customers that would come in and complain, and not tip you. I get along with the people on set. They’re fun, outgoing, and we’re doing what we like. What's the biggest misconception outsiders have of the adult industry? I think the viewing of what we put out there—as discriminating, or abusive, or the more degrading things—hurts our industry, because it puts out a negative point of view about our industry. There’s more positive than negative, I feel. They don’t realize that we get tested. What are your biggest turn-ons? I like biting of the nipples. I have really big nipples, and I like people playing with them and touching them. I’m a clit girl. I like vibrations and the playing of the tongue down there. Describe your dream sexual scenario. I would like to do something crazy like an underwater experience or skydiving. I’ve heard of girls doing things like that. I think it would be cool, different and fun. What three personal items would you take if you were stranded on a desert island? Toothpaste and toothbrush. Water. And sunscreen. [Laughs] What's the most valuable life lesson you've learned? Save your money would be the number-one thing. I wish I would have listened to that. I would have done more of it. Also, don’t judge a book by its cover. How would your best friends describe you? My personal best friends, who aren’t in the industry, would describe me as more quiet but freaky at the same time. Fun, outgoing. I’m always at the beach, I would rather be there than anywhere else. I’m the life of the party when we go out. How do you spend your free time? I like to relax and just chill out. I like the pool. I like walking and exercising. Working out. I like going shopping, of course. Traveling. I’m going back to Florida in a year. If you weren't doing this, what would you like to be doing? That’s hard. I’m doing what I want to do. I guess I would be going to college to become a dental hygienist. Do you have a long-range plan? I want to make a career out of this for as long as I can, and then I would like to make the swap into mainstream. That’s my biggest plan. I’d like to make the switch from porn to mainstream. I feel like I’m different, because I’m your girl next door, not the typical blonde-big-boobs porn girl. I feel like I have good aspects and morals. A girl can have morals and do what we do. Quick Hits Food you would be able to eat every day: I could eat strawberries every day. Best concert you've been to: Miranda Lambert, about two years ago in Florida. I haven’t been to a concert since. Pet peeves: Clicking of a pen constantly, I hate that. Asking the same question over, over and over again, when I’ve told you five or six times. That drives me crazy. One thing you would like to change about yourself: I wouldn’t change anything, because I feel that everything that God’s given me is what I’m supposed to have and it’s supposed to get me through life.
