Now Serving: 'Barbara Broadcast' Blu-ray & DVD Combo Pack

"Welcome to the Olympia Ballroom, home of Radley Metzger's Barbara Broadcast, an erotic film in four courses," announced Steve Morowitz of classic adult film producer Video-X-Pix and Distribpix. "Distribpix is happy to announce that the dining room is now officially open! The product is ready to ship and wholesale orders will begin to ship on Monday, Aug 12." According to Morowitz, those who ordered during the retail pre-order period were the first to be packaged and began to ship yesterday. The remaining pre-orders will continue to go out over the next few days and by next week, all of those should be shipped. And it's a hell of a package. The Blu-ray disk contains a hardcore version of the movie, together with a director's commentary, theatrical trailer, slideshow and news and advertising clippings as well as radio spots (remember way back when, when adult producers could actually do that?) from the movie's original release, while the DVDs have both the hard and soft versions of the movie, the director's commentary and much of the Blu-ray's same supplementary material, plus a "Making of..." documentary, interview with at least one of the performers, and a tribute reel to all of them. "Congratulations to those who stepped up and helped support this wonderful project!" Morowitz exclaimed.
