First-ever Scores Complex to Open in Atlantic City This Summer |
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—Calling it the first of its kind, managing partner Bob Gans is busy preparing for the opening later this summer of a massive Scores entertainment complex at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey. At a cost of $25 million and two years in the making, the “36,000-square-foot-club features a labyrinth of venues, including VIP areas and private rooms,” reported the Courier-Post. “We wanted to open something that had never been done before: an adult entertainment complex, not a strip club,” explained Gans. “It will have something for everybody from 21 to 65: visual entertainment, an outside deck off the boardwalk, a sports bar and a male revue aimed for women. “There’s a market for people who look for some form of entertainment that’s different, safe and not seedy,” he added. “The safety of the hotel is a draw by itself and if we are correct, it will be somewhat of a game-changer for Atlantic City.” That’s a tall order, but Atlantic City, with its envious proximity to the Big Apple, has always sparked dreams of fame and fortune. According to the Courier-Post, “Scores will include the Black Box Cabaret, a state-of-the-art special event space that can be reserved with or without Scores entertainers; the Spread, an intimate sports bar; the Deck at Scores, an exclusive beachside day and nightclub experience and the Scores Collection Retail Store.” Needless to say, it will also feature a state-of-the-art sports bar, something that comes with the name.
