Coquette To Launch Holiday Collection, Additions to Spellbound |
CAMBRIDGE, Ontario—Coquette, a leading manufacturer of lingerie in the adult industry, is working to release the 2014 Holiday collection, as well as expand the Spellbound collection. Attendees of the ANME show this weekend will get a sneak peak at the new items, while the official launch will take place at the International Lingerie Show this fall in Las Vegas. The pieces in the 2014 Holiday collection feature stretch lace, sequins, marabou hems, lacing and more. In addition to the traditional red-and-white and red-and-black colors schemes associated with the Christmas and Valentine’s Day holidays, there are also purple and fuchsia items. “And many of the designs come in plus sizes, too,” noted Erin Sue, director of marketing and public relations for Coquette. But unlike some lingerie manufacturers that simply try to size up for plus-sized women, the designs and construction of Coquette’s plus-size pieces are modified to meet the needs and concerns of a larger woman, while they sill mimic the smaller sizes in appearance. “The plus-size pieces will have wider straps for better support, a modesty panel that goes all the way around, and even Power Netting, which will act like shapewear,” Erin Sue noted. “The skirts of the babydolls and chemises have been lengthened, and the underwire and padding in the bras are more supportive.” The company also brought back the Coquette Diva name for the plus-size offerings. In addition to the new name, in the catalog, Coquette is launching a new format in their style numbers for plus sizing. All new plus styles will have an 'X' before the SKU number to indicate the sizing, something the company is using to indicating that the piece has been modified for larger shapes. New pieces have been added to the Spellbound collection as well, which features corsets and more with ribbons and chains and neckpieces that add a light bondage twist. Included in the additions is a mask and cuffs set that can be purchased separately and complements other pieces in the line. Erin Sue noted plus-size items are included in the Spellbound collection, too, with the same attention to detail for larger women as in the Coquette Diva line. The Spellbound collection features several black pieces, but other color combinations include grey and pink and fuchsia, which ties in with Coquette’s Main and Holiday collections this year. Coquette will be in the ANME tent this weekend. For more information, visit Coquette.com.
