ASACP Adds CherryPimps as Newest Corporate Sponsor

LOS ANGELES—The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) announced today that CherryPimps has become its newest corporate sponsor. CherryPimps, which has been around since 2006, has carved out a solid niche of loyal webmasters and loyal members by offering a quality product with regular updates, backed by ethical practices. It has become a sponsor to help ASACP continue its work to keep the adult industry clean and accountable. “We’re proud to be sponsors of ASACP as we strongly support all the work they do to protect the interests of children online everywhere,” said Avalance, the CEO and owner of CherryPimps.com. “Morality and ethics are often lacking in this space and having any form of accountability, such as that offered by ASACP, can only help to improve the space we live and work in.” ASACP encourages proactive accountability by offering digital media companies a formal Code of Ethics and market segment-specific Best Practices, along with tools including the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website label, preventing minors from accessing adult materials. “By sponsoring ASACP, CherryPimps is demonstrating that it is on the right side in the battle to protect children online,” ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning said. “This corporate self-regulation is the foundation on which the legitimate adult entertainment industry is built.” “Trying to keep children out of and away from age-inappropriate materials is a challenging undertaking and the upper echelon companies that make this commitment deserve all the help they can get,” Henning added. “This includes the guidance ASACP provides as to how your company can protect itself by protecting children.” For more information, email tim@asacp.org.
