Lockwood performing at The Comedy Store June 1 |
LOS ANGELES — Adult performer turned stand-up comedian Kurt Lockwood is once again hitting the stage with new material for his return performance this Saturday night, June 1, at the world famous Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip. Lockwood will be opening up for Chris D'Elia one of the stars of NBC's Whitney and Chelsea Lately. Lockwood will be going on around 7:30pm. Tickets are $8.00 presale and $16.00 at the door. "I found a great home at The Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip. I love it there,” said Lockwood. “Brian Monarch and everybody running this historic nightspot have been really cool. I'm working in the same venue where such legends of comedy as Richard Pryor, Andy Kaufman, Sam Kinison, and Bill Hicks have performed. This is a real thrill and the audiences have been receptive to my ‘porn humor’ and stand-up act. I'm also very happy to be performing here on my birthday. It's going be fun, so I hope you can come down and see me and laugh with us.”
