Wicked Filmmakers Jonathan Morgan, Stormy Daniels Win Fanny Awards |
LOS ANGELES/ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—Wicked Pictures has announced that veteran contract director Jonathan Morgan and writer/director/performer Stormy Daniels were winners at the First Annual Fanny Awards. Created as a means for the general public to vote for their favorite adult artists, the exciting new show was presented during the 2013 Exxxotica Expo in Atlantic City. Held Saturday evening in the Grand Ballroom of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino & Resort, the star-studded affair was hosted by Alexis Texas and mainstream entertainers Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine, both well-known from VH1’s popular That Metal Show. Morgan snared the Movie Of The Year trophy for his highly-touted all-sex spectacular, Lisa Ann Can't Say No. The night also provided something of a double-header for the movie's titular star, who also took home the Who's Your Mommy Fanny Award for MILF of the Year. For Stormy Daniels, the evening was a confirmation of the consistently high quality of her output as a filmmaker over the past year. She won the night's Director of the Year prize in recognition of such popular titles as Blow, Perfect Partner and Unfaithful. "It's never 'just porn' to me," Stormy remarked upon winning. "I pour my heart into every movie I write and direct. I adore directing and thank everyone who voted for me!" To learn more, visit thefannys.com.
