ASACP to Attend Webmaster Access Amsterdam |
LOS ANGELES—The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is once again participating in the upcoming Webmaster Access Amsterdam event. A popular gathering for the adult entertainment industry, Webmaster Access Amsterdam is slated for September 21-24. It features networking, seminars, parties and more; including the annual GFY Party and Awards ceremony. ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning will be attending Webmaster Access Amsterdam, thanks to the generosity of its promoters, which covered a portion of Henning’s expenses—and provided ASACP with flyers in the show’s gift bags, as well as an ad in its show guide. “There are many ways in which adult companies and organizations can support ASACP, such as through ad placements and other benefits that help to leverage our profile and increase our exposure, without expending our precious resources, which are needed to protect children,” Henning explained. “Due to our limited budget, we are unable to attend every relevant event, so a complimentary hotel room or other direct financial sponsorship by event promoters can really make a big difference to the association and its mission.” Henning sees the event as part of the association’s commitment to educate businesses around the world about the need to protect children online; and how association services such as the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website label and ASACP’s segment-specific Best Practices help in this endeavor, while benefiting the companies that take proactive, self-regulatory measures. “Attending Webmaster Access Amsterdam allows ASACP to interact with front line operators in the adult website community,” Henning stated. “By reaching this global audience, ASACP is truly able to make a difference in the world, by encouraging stakeholders to keep children out of, and away from, adult entertainment.” For more information, or to schedule a meeting with Henning, email tim@asacp.org.
