Penthouse Partners with German Cable Operator on New VOD Channel |
GERMANY—Penthouse Digital media Productions has partnered with Kabel Deutschland (KD), Germany's largest cable operator, on the launch of a newly branded TVOD service that will be distributed via KD's existing VOD platform. An announcement issued Monday says that KD, which reached about 8.5 million German homes, will have access to Penthouse's "100% full native HD and 3D content." According to FriendFinder Networks CEO Marc Bell, "We are very pleased to be working with KD to bring the Penthouse VOD brands to the German marketplace. Teaming up with key cable operators in Europe is an important element of the growth of the Penthouse VOD services, channels and brand in Europe. With KD as a new licensee we continue on the path of the expansion of our international broadcast and entertainment based product lines."
