Sportsheets Announces Winners of 2nd Annual Sex In the Shower Display Contest |
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—Sportsheets International has announced the winners of the 2nd Annual Sex In the Shower Display Contest, awarding cash and prizes to Playhouse Adult Superstore, Fairvilla Megastore, Adam & Eve and My Pure Pleasure for their creative depictions of the award-winning product line. “Sportsheets Founder and CEO Tom Stewart and I want to take this opportunity to personally thank the industry for taking on the 2012 Sex In the Shower April Shower challenge, which began a couple of months ago,” Sportsheets Vice President Julie Stewart said. “This was the second year in which we challenged retailers to put their best foot, and displays, forward. We received numerous entries and we’re proud to announce our hand-picked winners, who were chosen by an independent industry panel.” First place—and $2,000—went to Playhouse Adult Superstore in Queensland, Australia; the $1,000 second place prize went to Fairvilla Megastore in Key West, Fla.; the $500 third place winner was Adam & Even inJacksonville,N.C.; and both best website landing page and best video prizes went to My Pure Pleasure home parties. “I’m speechless and thrilled,” said Playhouse’s Kellie Hurley. “We are so surprised to have won the category. She purchased almost the entire line of Sex In the Shower! After our video released, several of her consultants reported that they are experiencing an increase in sales of Sex In the Shower, selling up to eight items per person at each party, including a few up-sells. We are so happy and excited to have won these awards!
