Final Weekend for Public to Cast Votes on TLAGay.com

PHILADELPHIA, PA - TLAGay has announced the final weekend to cast votes in the 2012 TLAGay Adult Awards. In its third year, the annual awards were created to honor the very best in gay adult movies, studios, talent, sex toys and more. TLAGay’s in-house staff devised the categories, with the final list of nominees being determined by overall vote-getters in each category. Voting is being conducted online via the website for the entire month of March and is open to both TLA’s customers and the public at large.  Films need to have been commercially released for sale in 2011 in order to be eligible. For performer categories, TLA took into account a model’s popularity based upon a combination of sales-related figures, press coverage, direct customer inquiries and/or the TLA staff’s own libidos. The "Twitter-Maniac" nod is for those involved in the world of gay porn that entertained the TLA staff this past year with witticisms, rants, meltdowns or pretty pics of their dicks — or they just tweeted so fucking much it was simply impossible to ignore them.  “In the case of some categories' final list of nominees, let's just say there was a lot of heavy drinking and bitch-slapping involved,” said Erik Schut, TLA’s managing director.  A special new category was inaugurated last year — the TLA Choice Award — in which the TLAgay.com editorial staff bestows honors upon those that they feel deserve the recognition. This year however, there is only one nominee and by default an early winner, with the recipient of the TLA Gay “Lamest and Limpest (P)Rick” award going to former Pennsylvania senator and US GOP presidential candidate, Rick Santorum for his ongoing assholism.   The last chance to vote is March 31, 2012 at 11:59 pm ET.  View a full list of nominees.
