2012 Tranny Awards Set to Genderfuck Hollywood This Sunday

BURBANK, Calif.-The 4th Annual Tranny Awards are slated to take place this Sunday night, February 19, at Joseph’s Café in Hollywood,CA. The path to a suitable venue was a bit rough this year, but the turnout is expected to reach sold-out proportions. As a result, although some tickets will be available at the door, it is strongly recommended that guaranteed tickets be purchases as soon as possible online via Event Brite. Star gazers can begin at 8:30 pm, when the red carpet officially opens. Once the awards begin at 10:00 pm, the stars will shine their brightest — with two times the usual after award party twinkle time.  “The evening could very well be the best Tranny Awards to date,” opined Steven Grooby of Grooby Productions. “We have a lot of surprises planned and many will be surprised who the winners are — it definitely will be a nail-biter. The trophies have been designed for us by Simply Blown and they are really stunning.”  Hosting the evening will be Nicole Paige Brooks, best known for competing during the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, with multiple-award nominated performer Domino Presley conducting live interviews, workin’ it on the red carpet and presenting an award during the evening. Among the expected attendees are Tranny Award nominees Morgan Bailey, Tiffany Starr, Jesse, Brittany St. Jordan and Liberty Harkness. After the awards, DJ Chelsea Malone from NYC Tranny Strip will spin danceable tunage until 2:00 am while Presley plays hostess with the mostess. The party doesn’t stop with the start of the work week — although it does take some time off to change its clothes, sober up and relocate to Club Voyeur on Monday, February 20, for the official Tranny Awards Celebration Party.  “Hopefully, I will have something to celebrate at the Tranny Awards Celebration Party; either way this weekend will be amazing,” said party hostess, Presley. “After just a year in adult, I have achieved so much with multiple AVN, XBIZ and Tranny Awards nominations, along with an amazing paysite and my own DVD. But I know the best is yet to come.”  New York’s infamous Tranny Strip and celebrated promoter John Ed and his NYC Tranny Strip Hostesses will return for the red carpet event, with Tranny Award nominees Morgan Bailey and Domino Presley and VIP Eros.com Model, Jennifer Paris, hosting. Club goers can meet the nominees, presenters and winners from the Tranny Awards taking place the night before. The red carpet opens at 9:00 pm and the party will run until 2:00 am.  The evening will feature live performances from NYC singing sensation Spicky Hilton and surprise performances by Screaming Queens Entertainment NYC. There will also be a special recreation of Madonna’s halftime Superbowl performance that will include some of her dancers hitting the stage. If that’s not enough… there will be more than 20 T-girl dancers, a private champagne room for lap dances, DJ Chelsea Malone spinning once again, and surprise mainstream celebrity guests. “We’re bringing out our New York style party and Los Angeles hasn’t seen anything quite like this,” said promoter, Ed. “We’re pulling out all the stops and this is one party you don’t want to miss.”  Eros.com, Grooby and DEXNew York are sponsoring the night, which will include giveaways all evening long, featuring promotional items and advertising discounts from Eros.com, free make-up bags from DEXNew Yorkand DVDs from Grooby. Trannybox will also donate DVDs for giveaways.
