Join the Burnin’ Angel Brunch at First Food & Bar Jan. 22

LAS VEGAS—Joanna Angel and BurningAngel.com have partnered up with First Food & Bar for the Burnin’ Angel Brunch, a sizzling post-AVN Awards brunch on Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. First Food & Bar’s Al Mancini, co-author of Eating Las Vegas and America’s most unconventional food critic, and Chef Sam “Sammy D” DeMarco, along with the ladies of BurningAngel.com, invite guests to join them as they celebrate the biggest adult expo in the country, the Adult Entertainment Expo, along with the most prestigious award show in the industry, the AVN Awards. “As America’s premier punk rock food writer, who’s also covered the Adult Entertainment Expo and AVN Awards for various publications for close to 15 years, I’ve always been a big fan of Joanna Angel,” Mancini said. “She was the first punk rock porn superstar and Chef Sammy D stormed the fine dining world in the ’90s with his gourmet junk food. Together, these two pioneers of their trades have created an incredible menu and a totally unique event.” Specific menu items and drinks were inspired by Joanna Angel and her co-stars Jessie Lee, Kleio and Krysta Kaos, who will be on hand to explain the inspiration behind this hot menu. Celebrity DJ Antonio Ballatore will also be in attendance to keep the party hopping. Burnin’ Angels Brunch menu includes items such as: Joanna Angel’s Passed “Put It Into Your Mouth” Course—smoked salmon ribbons, smashed Tater Tot Mock ‘Latke’ topped with crème fraiche; salmon caviar and a glass of bubbling champagne; BurningAngels Monkey Bread with 151 Rum bananas and walnuts paired with Roadside Style: Rocks Glass Bloody with hot fries rim and beef jerky; Jessie Lee’s Spinach, Mushroom & Tomato Crepes with mushroom cream accompanied with a Tropical Smoothie or Tequila-Mango Margarita; Kleio’s BBQ Pork Biscuit with egg over easy and jalapeno hollandaise paired with Jameson Whiskey and pickle juice; Krysta Kaos’ “Gutter Punk” Sampler—B.L.T., wings, breakfast mini-burgers and Family Style Mac & Cheese followed by hot chocolate and mini cinnamon-sugar donuts. First Food & Bar is located inside The Shoppes at the Palazzo at 3327 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Unit 2812, on the second floor next to Barneys New York. There’s an additional entrance on the Las Vegas Strip. Guests will be able to enjoy an intimate setting as they taste unique hors d’oeuvres, four sit-down courses and a special cocktail pairing for $50 plus tax and gratuity. Guests will also receive a copy of Eating Las Vegas: The 50 Essential Restaurants, written by Vegas food critics Al Mancini, John Curtas and Max Jacobson.
