Wasteland Studios Takes Home AEBN Best BDSM Movie Award |
CYBERSPACE — Wasteland, the internet’s very first and largest BDSM web and mobile site, has taken home an AEBN Award for Best BDSM Movie for the Punishment Inc. Series. AEBN began keeping track of the most popular films and the stars of the year starting in 2006. AEBN studies the viewing habits of the millions who visit the company's network of VOD theaters and the winners have become recognized with their own coveted VOD Awards. "Wasteland has worked closely with AEBN since the early days of the adult online industry and we are delighted to get this award for our Punishments, Inc. BDSM series,” says Colin Rowntree, founder and CEO of Wasteland. “What makes it even sweeter, is that this is a ‘people's choice’ type award based on how many AEBN customers are buying and watching this unique, high end film we shot last year. It's truly wonderful to see consumers paying for adult content in this day and age!" Released in February of 2011, Punishment Inc. Series stars Adrianna Nicole, Keni Styles, Victoria White, Ally Kay, and Tony De Sergio. “We have worked with Wasteland studios for many years and I'm glad that we can recognize them in this way," says AEBN's VP of sales and marketing, Jerry Anders. "Our VOD customers have spoken and what they've said is that the Punishment Inc series is the Best BDSM title of the year. Wasteland certainly deserves the honor." Wasteland Studios produces some of the hottest and best in BDSM entertainment. The Punishment Inc. Series intends to showcase the magnificence of making a gorgeous girl a sexual toy for one’s fantasies. Wasteland.com has been featured by HBO, Wired and the BBC, and has won dozens of industry awards. Wasteland's "sister site", Sssh.com, presents erotica for women and couples from a woman’s point of view and has been featured in Time Magazine, Newsweek and the recently published book, A Billion Wicked Thoughts. Colin Rowntree, founder of Wasteland, was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame Founders Division in 2011.
