DreamZone Entertainment Announces 'Romeo and Juliet' Display Contest |
VAN NUYS, CA — What tragic romance is better known than that of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet? DreamZone Entertainment doesn’t necessarily anticipate that its very adult version of the classic tale will become as famous, but that doesn’t mean the company doesn’t want it to be noticed by as many erotic Shakespeare fans as possible. In other words, it’s time for a Romeo and Juliet in-store display contest! The renowned parody studio is giving retail shop owners the unique opportunity to compete for a chance to win $1,000 in DVDs. The rules are simple; construct a romance-themed display centered on DreamZone’s Romeo and Juliet, take photos of your creation, and send them to Adam Hasner, VP of DreamZone. For their Romeo and Juliet showcase, participants can order advanced copies of the movie and are free to use any of the film’s current promo materials. The contest runs from today until February 21, 2012. Judgment of the entries will be based upon creativity and effective merchandising. The winner will be announced on February 28, 2012. “We’re thrilled about the contest,” stated Hasner. “This provides an amazing opportunity for retailers to simultaneously spread the word about Romeo and Juliet while drawing in traffic and assisting in their conversion. I can’t wait to see all the photos and look forward to announcing our winner.” DreamZone Entertainment presents a sensual reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic tale of star-crossed love, Romeo and Juliet. This modern-day adaptation appropriately positions hardcore eroticism while remaining true to the original vision. The film’s seamless transition between Shakespearean poetics and current vernacular provides contemporary audiences with a more palatable rendition. Set in present time, the story commences with Romeo (Rocco Reed) heart-broken over the loss of his former girlfriend Rosalyn (Andy San Dimas). Through the consolation of his loyal friend Benvolio, Romeo discovers comfort in the arms of the equally woeful Juliet (Chanel Preston). Despite the unending feud which rages between their families, the two lovers forbid the ensuing turmoil to obstruct their union. When the strife spirals out of control, Romeo and Juliet are left with dire consequences and life-altering decisions to make. Following the impassioned duo through this chaos are India Summer (Lady Capulet), Anthony Rosano (Tybalt), Ann Marie Rios (Polly), Brian Street Team (Benvolio), and AVN Hall of Famer Tom Byron (Capulet patriarch). Send all contest submissions to Vantage Distribution.
