.XXX Sponsors 2011 Race of Champions

PALM BEACH GARDENS—ICM Registry is speeding towards its global general availability of .XXX domain names on December 6, 2011 with a premium sponsorship of the international Race of Champions at Düsseldorf’s ESPRIT arena. The stadium will play host to the ROC Nations Cup on Saturday, December 3 followed by the Race of Champions itself on Sunday, December 4.  “We are very excited about sponsoring this world class auto racing event,” said Stuart Lawley, CEO of ICM Registry.  “We are putting our full support behind promoting .XXX as a global brand and sponsorships of events like this bring a new level of awareness to consumers about the domain.” The Race of Champions features a lineup of motor sport stars that includes current Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel and seven-time title winner Michael Schumacher.  The race also will feature duels, with Schumacher lined up to battle with fellow F1 world champion Jenson Button—along with X-Games great Brian Deegan and rally ace Jan Kopecký. Vettel faces another tough group with Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen, fellow F1 driver Vitaly Petrov and GP2 champion Romain Grosjean.   .XXX branding will be featured around the stadium along with its new video advertising running on large screens, placement in the VIP area and as a host of the post-race party. The Race of Champions also features an impressive array of vehicles, including the Audi R8 LMS, VW Scirocco and Skoda Fabia Super 2000 rally car. They will run alongside ROC favourites such as the ROC car, KTM X-Bow, World Touring Racecar and the RX150 buggy.
