Lizzy Borden Signs With LA Direct |
LOS ANGELES—Performer/director Lizzy Borden, aka "The Queen of Extreme," furthers her comeback career by joining premier talent agency LA Direct Models. Borden has long held a very high-profile status both in and out of the adult industry, having appeared and/or been written about in publications such as Details, Elle, High Times, Reason, The Examiner, Revolver and more. She has also been seen on television programs including The Daily Show, Nightline, 60 Minutes, The Bill Maher Show, The O’Reilly Factor and Countdown With Keith Olberman. In addition, Borden starred in Terror Tunes, a cult favorite horror film, and served as the subject of a BBC Network documentary. Currently, she is the spokeswoman for Crash Music and Evil Threads Clothing, and is heavily involved in the world of professional wrestling. In discussing her foray into the adult industry, Borden recalled, “I had decided I wanted to become a porn star, and after a few girl/girl scenes, I was booked to work with this director who, at the time, was considered to be the Fellini of smut. Although I was warned that his shoots were long, intense and that he was like this relentless taskmaster who would make you break down at the end of a scene if you didn't do it his way, I was really intrigued. But Rob Black and I hit it off immediately. We were these two kindred spirits who saw life from the same perspective. To be honest, have fun, to not back down from your beliefs, and to make bold political and social statements. After meeting Rob, I knew I had to direct.” Borden's directing efforts have included Creature Feature, Big Butt Cowgirl Pinups, The Fog, Rubber, Cannibalism, Gang Bang 666, Purity and Innocence, Mork & Mindy: A XXX Parody, Lizzy Borden’s Taste That Ass and Sluts and Butts and Housewives Volumes 1, 2 and 3. Commented LA Direct owner and founder Derek Hay, “Direct Models is delighted to welcome this iconic performer and director to the stable of talent at LADM. We feel that Lizzy has forged her own successful path and career in adult, and are delighted that we may now assist her in continuing with that. There are few that can say they stand out as being truly unique and original in adult—Lizzy is one of those few.”
