Max Candy, Dorcel Invoke Tarantino With 'Inglorious Bitches' |
PARIS—Acclaimed director Max Candy aims big with his latest production for Euro-studio Marc Dorcel (distributed in the U.S. by Wicked Pictures), a mega-budget triple-X adaptation of Quentin Tarantino's WWII epic Inglourious Basterds entitled Inglorious Bitches. Due out Nov. 1 via DVD and VOD, Inglorious Bitches racked up a reported tab of $350,000 and features a cast of over 100, including Dorcel contract girl Anna Polina and European superstars Tarra White, Aleska Diamond, Cindy Dollar, Suzie Carina, Jenna Lovely and Defrancesca Gallardo. Polina and White play two young women who assemble a ragtag group of prostitutes to wreak vengence upon the Nazis. They run a brothel frequented by non-commissioned German soldiers, from whom they extract vital information using their sexual wiles that aids them in launching an underground operation to eradicate the Third Reich. Having previously helmed a number of large-scale productions for Dorcel, including Ritual, Mafia Girl and My First Orgy, Candy's tackling of Inglorious Bitches could very well be his most ambitious undertaking to date.
