Double Win for Lovehoney at ETO Awards |
BATH, England—Lovehoney has been named Best Online Retailer at the 2011 ETO awards. Presented by UK industry magazine Erotic Trade Only, the awards honor the highest achievers in the adult industry, including retailers, lingerie companies, film distributors and manufacturers. Lovehoney beat off competitors including Ann Summers to win the award for a record fourth year. The company also scooped the Success Story of the Year award, recognizing its continued innovation and business growth in the UK and expansion into the U.S. market. Lovehoney, which currently sells one in three sex toys purchased online, making it UK's largest online adult retailer, has had an exciting year, having undergone a successful rebrand and website makeover, and reported sales of £13.4 million for the year 2010-11, an increase of £3 million on the previous year. The company also acquired online lingerie retailer BeCheeky.com in April this year, launched several new product ranges and completed a £1 million refurbishment of its warehouse and offices inBath, doubling it in size.
