Sedo: XXXbook.com Sells for $100,000

CYBERSPACE—The domain XXXbook.com has apparently sold for $100,000, according to a post on The Domains. “It looks like the domain has minimal traffic according to Alexa and Compete and is being redirected to XXXmatch.com,” wrote MHB. “Currently the site calls itself the ‘Facebook of Sex.’” MHB thinks the Facebook reference may lead to a lawsuit, but he adds, “[It’s] a very nice price for the domain and hopefully the buyer will be careful not to do anything to jeopardize his investment.” XXXmatch.com is owned by Cytek Ltd., which as of a few years ago was the owner of SexSearch.com, which now redirects to SexSearchcom.com, also owned by Cytek. SexSearchcom.com shares design elements with XXXmatch.com. Cytek also runs HookUpPartners.com, and possibly other similar dating sites, as well.
