Itâs Your Call: Industry Invited to Help Shape ANE Seminars |
CHATSWORTH, Calif.—The seminars and panels presented at the AVN Novelty Expo have always been informative, educational, thought-provoking and sometimes even controversial. Now they will be custom built to feedback provided by ... you. For the first time, AVN Media Network is asking members of the pleasure products industry for their input on seminar topics for the AVN Novelty Expo, scheduled for July 7-9 at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, Calif. “The panels and seminars we have put together in the past have always been well attended and well received,” said Sherri L. Shaulis, senior editor of pleasure products for AVN. “We have always prided ourselves on the topics and the participants chosen. Recently, we have had several members of the industry ask us for information on a variety of topics when it comes to increasing their profits and running their business effectively and efficiently. So it made sense for us to pose the question to the industry as a whole: ‘What topics do you want to see addressed at ANE?’” Past seminar topics have included The Green Movement: Healthy Products, Healthy Profits; How To Get Mainstream Press; and How Retailers Successfully Market Sex Toys and Merchandise. These panels have featured some of the biggest names in the industry, from manufacturers to retailers to distributors. Suggestions for seminar topics can be sent to Shaulis at sherri.shaulis@AVN.com. Please include the suggested seminar name, and a brief description of your vision of the seminar’s content. The AVN Novelty Expo is the novelty industry's premier B2B event. For more than a decade, hundreds of qualified buyers from around the world have gathered for this premier buyers' conference and exhibition, where manufacturers debut new products and buyers make their most important purchasing decisions of the year. The buyer base includes distributors, retailers, exporters, mail order companies, large home party organizers, and individuals or companies involved in large volume purchases. Exhibitors range from entrepreneurs offering one or two specialized items to premier manufacturers who produce a vast array of traditional favorites and cutting-edge designs. Reservations for exhibit booths are currently being accepted. To reserve your space, contact Director of Sales Sara Harter at sara.harter@AVN.com or call (818) 718-5788, ext. 109. Qualified buyers can attend ANE this summer for free. To register, email Buyers@AVN.com.
