Mickey Bojcsik Announces Departure from AWE |
CYBERSPACE—Almost four years after being named program director for live cam operator Adult Webmaster Empire (AWE), Mickey Bojcsik has announced that he is leaving the company. Bocjsik had previously been a project leader for AWE's MyCams product before assuming his current position. AWE entered the market in 2002 with its flagship site, LiveJasmin. The company has since become a market leader in the live-cam sector. In 2007 he told AVN, "My goal as AWE's program director is to take the program to the next level by, among other things, focusing on providing our affiliates with a large selection of promo tools, maintaining quality affiliate support and taking all measures neccessary to further increase our affiliates' earnings." Late Friday, Bocjsik issued the following statement announcing his departure. "As much as AWE has become a part of me ('First you are part of it, then it becomes a part of you' holds true regardless of whether you're a Partner, Team member or Affiliate) it is time for a change. After a long tenure as a Partner/Program Director at AWE I will be exiting the company. "I will be passing on the management of the affiliate program to Dave. Dave and I have been working on transferring the know how and tasks to him for some time and I am confident he's ready to take on the tasks that await him and our talented team. "There are also some exciting developments planned for the future, so stay tuned. "It has been a pleasure working with you and meeting some of you in person over the years. Keep up the good work and I wish you the best of luck with meeting and exceeding your goals. I will visit the board every now and again, so behave, as I will be watching you."
