Revolution X, Digital Sin Begin Production on âStar Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parodyâ |
CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Revolution X and Digital Sin have announced production on Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody set to start shooting next week in Los Angeles. As the recipient of AVN’s 2010 Best Parody award for The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody, Revolution X and Digital Sin gained a following for creating high-end, sci-fi adult movies. For the parody of Star Trek: The Next Generation, director Sam Hain secured an impressive cast, including several self-proclaimed Trekkie porn stars. A mainstream acting, Captain Picard look-alike will lead the cast on their voyage through space. Sam Hain says, “As a fan of the X-Files, my admiration for the show led to a demand for perfection. The result was an AVN award for Best Parody. I’m an even bigger fan of Star Trek. Directing this project is a dream come true. We’re going to take adult film to a new realm of possibilities.” Scott Taylor, president of Revolution X and Digital Sin, says, “Sam continues to prove he is one of the best in the industry at handling large budgets and brilliant visual effects. The Next Generation will be one of our biggest movies ever, and I know Sam will create something equally embraced by consumers and critics.” Revolution X and Digital Sin are noted for creating high budget, pitch-perfect parodies of Hollywood’s darker material. The prequel to The Sex Files, The Sex Files 2 was nominated for 14 AVN award nominations at the 2011 show, including Best Parody.
