Girlfriends Films Reflects on Numerous AVN Awards Wins

RESEDA, Calif.—Girlfriends Films’ success at the 2011 AVN Awards and Adult Entertainment Expo reflect the studio’s positioning at the top of the lesbian adult movie market. For a fourth straight year, Women Seeking Women earned AVN’s Best All-Girl Series award. The studio’s impressive domination of the category is a result of featuring the most realistic lesbian sex available. In addition, Girlfriends Films’ Mother-Daughter Exchange Club 12 received the AVN award for Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Release. Girlfriends Films Vice President Moose says, “These awards are a great way to begin the year. Thank you so much to Paul Fishbein and all the voters at AVN. While in Las Vegas for the awards show, Girlfriends Films exhibited at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE). Fans and media swarmed the studio’s booth as contract stars Prinzzess and India Summer conducted interviews and signed autographs. The booth also featured lesbian performers such as Elexis Monroe, Dana DeArmond, Heather Starlet, Jelena Jensen and more. Fresh off her DVD distribution deal with Girlfriends Films, Director Jincey Lumpkin appeared at the booth all four days promoting her first release, Taxi: Volume 1.
